Small Business Tech Goes Home
Small Business Tech Goes Home at the library intends to teach students how to use specialized online resources to aid their existing or prospective small businesses in:
- Planning and financing
- Administration & Record Keeping
- Website design and maintenance
- Advertising and online access
- Locating and targeting a customer base
- General business and demographic information
- Networking with other businesses and their customer base
Class meets a total of 8 times on Saturdays from 2:00-4:00pm at the Main Library on 1001 Broad Street.

- Saturday, September 22
- Saturday, October 6
- Saturday, October 13
- Saturday, October 20
- Saturday, October 27
- Saturday, November 3
Note that there will be no class on Saturday, September 29.
Individuals who complete the course can purchase a Google Chrome for $50.00 on the last day of class. Payment will be in cash or money order only, no credit/debit cards or personal checks.
Anyone can attend the class, but ONLY residents of the State of Tennessee can receive the discounted Chromebook at the end of it.
This class series is limited to 10 students. Students may not register once the series has begun.
