City transportation staff will lead this tour of neighborhoods for all age groups and abilities. Volunteer marshals and police officers on bicycles will escort the ride. Because the ride will be approximately 12 miles on city streets, we recommend that children under the age of 10 ride on tagalongs or in bike trailers.

The National Medal of Honor Museum of Military History will dedicate the second sign in its Medal of Honor Heritage Trail at Mountain Memories near Craven’s House on Lookout Mountain on Saturday, November 15 at 1:00PM. The sign will honor the four members of the 149th New York who received the Medal of Honor for their actions during the “Battle above the Clouds” in 1863.

Welcome the snowy months of winter to Chattanooga at Creative Discovery Museum’s Snow Day celebration on Saturday, November 15, from noon-4 p.m.
Museum guests will be able to spend the afternoon enjoying the first “snow fall” in Chattanooga with special guests Jack Frost and Suzy Snowflake as they participate in the following fun, snowy hands-on family activities:
• Join Jack Frost and friends every thirty minutes in the Museum Atrium beginning at 1:00 p.m.
• Face-painting, Snow Taste and Feel, Mini Snowmen and Snow Dough take-homes in the Museum Atrium from noon-4 p.m.
• Snowy Scenery in the Art Studio from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Snowflake Tortillas in Culinary Corner at noon.
• Welcome Chattanooga’s First Snowfall with a performance by Tempo Dance Studio at 1 p.m.
• Project Linus activity in the Art Studio from 1-3 p.m.
• Hansel and Gretel Opera performance in the Museum Auditorium at 2 p.m.
• Suzy Snowflake Dance Party in the Museum Atrium at 3 p.m.
In celebration of Chattanooga’s 175th Birthday, Jack Frost and Suzy Snowflake will lead guests in singing happy birthday to Chattanooga and families will get the chance to enjoy birthday cake.
All activities and materials are included with paid Museum admission.

Titled "A Night at the Movies" This show is brought to the community free of charge with the help of the Hickory Valley Garden Club and Scenic Cities Beautiful. The Flower Show will feature judged designs of varying types. The gardener entrants will be on hand to discuss both the design and the hands on cultivation and preparation of the elements used in the designs. The themes will all be based on movies.
The Horticultural exhibit provides participants with the opportunity to exhibit and view well grown, well groomed, correctly identified, fresh plant material. Attendees are encouraged to ask the exhibitors questions about the cultivation of the plants.
The Hickory Valley Garden Club invites friends, neighbors, and the community of Heritage House and Heritage Park to participate in Division 1 Horticulture Section "F" of this show titled "Chance of a Lifetime" . No Garden Club member may enter this section. Eligible for Flower Show Committee Award. classifications are Class 27 - Any named cut specimen grown for foliage (1 stem), and Class 28 - Any Named Specimen in bloom (1 stem and bloom) .
An educational exhibit will also be created by experts from the garden club. You won't want to miss a minute of this feature!

One of the assignments for the students is to choose a problem plaguing the city of Chattanooga, address it and come up with a solution. The students must create a display board explaining the problem they have chosen, how it effects the city and the solution they have come up with to combat the issue. Those solutions will be on display from noon to 4:30 PM for the public to see on November 12, 2014.
