Hamilton Place Mall Event Disappointment

So, we went to the Hamilton Place New Look Event and were very disappointed.  The Schedule listed the Coke Taste Test and the Little Debbie Giveaway, but did not list where.  I tried to call but only got a busy signal.  I called several more times, but still, only a busy signal.  So, we drove there and walked in the entrance where the Schedule had said that other events were to begin.  The Little Debbie Semi Truck was out front, but the doors were closed.

Inside the front doors at the Food Court entrance, the table was set up, but no one was there.  So, we walked to Customer Service.  The girl there didn't know where the events were to be held either.  She suggested they were to be held in the Food Court or Comcast Stage.  Okay, both of those options sounded reasonable, so off we went.  Nope, no one at either.  I asked an employee who was cleaning the floor (she walked around a lot, so I figured that she probably saw where events were taking place).  No, she didn't know.  We walked around and found another employee.  He directed us to "Wilson".  Two thumbs up for Wilson.  He called on his little walkie talkie and walked to the office.  He said that the Coke taste test was supposed to be outside Piccadilly (right by the Customer Service entrance).

The Little Debbie Giveaway was supposed to be at the entrance of the Food Court.  We walked to the Little Debbie Giveaway first.  Still no one at the table.  We decided to check out the Coke Taste Test.  As we walked along, we saw Wilson again.  I told him that no one was at the Little Debbie giveaway so we were going to try and find the Coke one.  And off we went.  The samples were of Mello Yello and Mello Yello Zero.  I prefer the regular Mello Yello.

I had never seen the Mello Yello Zero and now I know that I probably should not get it.  (Actually we are more Mountain Dew drinkers than Mello Yello, but Mello Yello is okay).

After our taste of Mello Yello and Mello Yello Zero, we decided to try the Little Debbie giveaway again.  We saw Wilson walking to the Coke Taste Test.  Still no on at the Little Debbie Giveaway, so I did my return.  Then we went back to the Little Debbie Giveaway Location and found Wilson again.  He called on his walkie talkie again and the person said that Little Debbie was with the Coke Taste Test.  Wilson assured him that it was Not (as Wilson had already been to make sure the Coke Taste Test was there).  It was pouring rain and Wilson ran out to the Little Debbie semi to see if the driver was inside.  No luck.  So more calls.

They finally decided that the Little Debbie's had been given away that morning and more would be given away at the Santa Parade (so the Schedule of them being given way was a Lie).  My Hamilton Place Mall New Image event was a Big disappointment.  Wilson was Great though.  Thank you, Wilson for all of our efforts;  I was impressed by your tenacity.  Thank you.
