Civil Discourse Public Forum, Sundays, September 30 - October 21, 2018

Civil Discourse Public Forum:
St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 630 Mississippi Avenue, Signal Mountain, will begin a discussion forum on civil discourse (as in how to have conviction for a cause and not feeling hatred for someone who disagrees)
The opening topic is "Identifying the Issue, Sharking Stories and Searching for Common Ground,"  Still to come are "Sharing Stories and Ideas," Oct 7;  panel discussion with local religious leaders, Oct. 14;  panel discussion with local elected leaders and candidates, Oct 21.  Registration is not required.

How do I love my neighbor if I disagree with them? How do I have conviction, but not hatred? How do we move forward together?

Join us at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church as we explore these issues and more.

Beginning September 30 at 6 p.m. St. Timothy’s will host a Discussion Forum on the topic of Civil Discourse on Signal Mountain and in the broader Chattanooga area.

September 30 -- Identifying the Issue, Sharing Stories, and Searching for Common Ground

October 7 -- Sharing Stories and Ideas

October 14 -- Panel Discussion with local religious leaders

October 21 -- Panel Discussion with local elected leaders and candidates
