Mother-Daughter Empowerment Mini Conference

Saturday, September 22
at 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Safety is a right not a privilege. Come learn skills of how to be in power, calm, and safe in your life as you grow up and rule the world. From female entrepreneurs and officers in your community, you will learn meditation, self-defense, online gaming safety, and strategies to avoid dangerous situations, all while having fun and getting to know girls your age in the community. 
This program is for girls ages 13-18 and their mothers or important females in their life.

  • Tara Phillips of Body Postive Chattanooga: 
    • ​Talk: Benefits of Calm
    • Demo: Mindfulness and Self Love
  • Officer Annie Crider of the Chattanooga Police Department's RTIC (Real Time Intelligence Center):
    • Talk: Safety in One's Surroundings
    • Demo: Birds Eye Safety Assessment
Registration is Required and refreshments will be provided.

This program is brought to you in collaboration with teens earning their Girls Scout Silver Award and the Chattanooga Public Library Teen Department.
