Tell a Tail
We love reading, and so does Maggie!
Maggie, a certified therapy dog, will be at Northgate Library every Monday from 4 to 5 pm. Children can take turns reading out loud to Maggie, who is the greatest listener!
Sometimes, children feel more comfortable reading to a pet than they do reading out loud to an adult. Kids who read to animals regularly can show drastic improvements in their reading skills, enjoyment of reading, and in their self confidence.
Come tell a "tail" to Maggie!
