First Things First Movies in the Park 2013, Saturday, July 27, 2013





Now in its 11th season, FTF once again partners with the City of Chattanooga to offer this free family event to the community.  Starting July 6 and continuing each Saturday in July, families are invited to watch kid-friendly movies on the big screen under the stars.

The movie starts at sundown, so grab your blankets and lawn chairs and join in the fun!  In case of inclement weather, listen to Sunny 92.3 FM to find out if that week’s movie will be shown.

And please remember:  ALL CHILDREN UNDER 18 must be accompanied by a parent after 6pm in the park.

Chick Fi A Cow Appreciation Day, Friday, July 12, 2013


 
 

Cow Appreciation Day®

Join us July 12, 2013 at your favorite Chick-fil-A Restaurant!

For one day only, black and white spots, cow bells and furry ears will be appropriate attire at Chick-fil-A restaurants across the nation. In celebration of July 12, Cow Appreciation Day, Chick-fil-A will award a FREE Meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) to any customer who comes to one of our 1,700+ restaurants fully dressed as a cow. 


A. "Fully dressed like a cow" means effort to be dressed like a cow from head to toe. "Partial cow attire" means just a cow accessory, such as a cow-printed hat, vest or purse. People dressed in partial attire will be awarded an entrée vs. a full combo meal.
 
 
Q. Which Meals and Entrées can be redeemed?
A. Guests fully dressed from head to hoof in cow attire may select any breakfast, lunch or dinner Meal.   Kids fully dressed like a cow may select a Kid's Meal.

Breakfast Meal includes a breakfast Entrée (Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit; Chick-n-Minis™ (3-count); Chicken or Sausage Breakfast Burrito; Chicken, Egg, and Cheese Bagel; or Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit), hash browns, and small beverage. Breakfast items may not be served at all locations and are served during breakfast hours only.


Lunch or dinner Meal includes an Entrée (Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich; Spicy Chicken Sandwich; Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich; Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap®; Chick-fil-A® Nuggets (8-count); Chicken Salad Sandwich or Chick-n-Strips™ (3-count)), medium Waffle Potato Fries™, and medium beverage. Any Entrée Salad and medium beverage are also considered a Meal.


Kid's Meals include choice of an Entrée (Chick-fil-A® Nuggets (4-count); Chick-fil-A® Grilled Nuggets (4-count); Chick-fil-A® Chick-n-Strips (1-count), a Small Side Item (Cinnamon Apple Sauce, Waffle Potato Fries™ or Fruit Cup), Kid's Size Drink (Chick-fil-A® 2% Reduced Fat Milk, Chick-fil-A® Chocolate Low Fat Milk, Minute Maid® Apple Juice) and special surprise.

Guests partially dressed in cow attire (like a hat or scarf) may select any breakfast, lunch or dinner entrée.

Pops on the River, July 3, 2013 CANCELLED



Pops on the River 

An annual Independence Day celebration, Pops on the River features a free open-air concert by the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Orchestra on July 3 at Coolidge Park. The performance, showcasing a spectrum of patriotic and traditional tunes as well as music from some of America's most influential composers, is followed by an impressive fireworks finale over the Tennessee River. Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic basket meals are welcome, although food and drink concessions are also available at the park.
