Bridge Christian Church announces its seventh annual family movie series, Movies in the Park at Dark, at Heritage Park. The first movie of the season will be shown on Friday, August 10th. The animated film is based on the Lego Batman toy line and chronicles the adventures of Batman and Joker. The second movie of the season is a musical inspired by the story of P.T. Barnum’s creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus and will take place on Friday, September 21st. Both movies begin at 7:30 p.m. and are shown on a large inflatable screen at Heritage Park. The events are free and open to the public. Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the shows. Movies will be cancelled for inclement weather. Heritage Park is located at 1428 Jenkins Road in Chattanooga. The 22-acre park has a walking track, playground, picnic tables, bocce ball court, public art and an off-leash dog park. Bridge Christian Church is a non-denominational, independent Christian Church which holds gatherings at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday at Westview Elementary School in the East Brainerd community of Chattanooga. .
