WTCI invites you to join us for the August “PBS at the Palace” screening of Splash and Bubbles: Pole to Pole. This special screening is free and guests will enjoy taking home fun PBS KIDS activity sheets, stickers and more.
Bring your kids and join the Reeftown friends as they take a migration vacation. Setting off from the icy Antarctic, the gang meets mackeral icefish, Pebbles the Gentoo penguin, and follow the whistling of a narwal to finally catch up with Melody in the Arctic just in time to see her at the krill bloom!
Produced by the Jim Henson Company, Splash and Bubbles uses animated stories and live-action content to incorporate themes of diversity, individuality and interconnectedness to celebrate learning and discovery in an exciting underwater world.
Doors open and concessions are available beginning at 6 PM and the screening begin at 6:30 PM. Sponsored by the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union, Brody Jewelers and Allied Eye, this free film screening series introduces WTCI’s audience to the wide variety of genres viewers enjoy through the community PBS station’s broadcasts.
