Native Plant Expo and Native Plant Market , Saturday, March 16, 2019

subject: [neighbors] Native Plant Symposium
I know we have a lot of gardeners and people that care about the environment in the neighborhood......
so I am pleased to share information about the Tennessee Valley Wild Ones annual native plant and sustainable landscaping symposium!
The 8th annual "Plant Natives" Symposium, market place, and expo will be held at UTC University Center Auditorium on Saturday, March 16th.
It is an all-day event featuring three excellent speakers, book-signing, door prizes, local organisations tabling, art, and of course three nurseries selling hard-to-find native plants!
It is also a great time to meet other people interested in gardening, environmentally conscious land management, connecting people with nature, botany, supporting wildlife, etc.
The expo and native plant market are FREE to attend, so please drop by anytime between 8:00 and 4:30 on March 16th.
Symposium prices:
$55 - Wild Ones members
$65 - non-members
$75 - at the door
$20 - students
Lunch is included.

Wild Ones: "Healing the earth one landscape at a time", promotes environmentally sound landscaping practices to preserve biodiversity through the preservation, restoration, and establishment of native plant communities.
Our Wild Ones chapter is dedicated to educating and advocating for biodiversity in the Tennessee Valley.  We offer a variety of programs and events throughout the year that teach sustainable landscaping practices using plants that are native to our region.
Thanks!
Hope to see you there.
