Women's History Programs
Chickamauga Battlefield, 3370 LaFayette Road, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
Living-history weekend focuses on Women's Army Corps training facility at Chickamauga Battlefield during World War II. Visitors interact with WAC living historians at training stations you people have opportunity to earn special Junior Ranger badge or WAC training certificate. Formal living-history presentation on the WACs at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m ;; 90 minutes one-mile hike to ruins of the training facility at 2 p.m each day. All programs tart ate Visitor Center, 9 a.m. -4 p.m. Saturday- Sunday, March 23 - 24.
