Volunteer Demolition Day at Home Harvest House in St. Elmo

Interior demolition work day at our Home Harvest House In St. Elmo, 5316 St. Elmo Ave.
The first volunteer day will be this Saturday, November 14th, 8am-5pm. We will be tearing out the plaster and lath on all the interior walls and ceilings and putting it into dumpsters. 1885 will be providing lunch at noon for those volunteers who are there during the noon hour, which means that we will need a headcount as soon as possible. If you are interested in volunteering please fill out the volunteer information form.
We will have tyvek suits on site for all volunteers as well as dust masks, goggles and gloves for everyone that is not able to bring their own. We will also have demolition tools, but it would be helpful for those who have, can borrow, or even purchase them, to bring as well. The restoration of this house, when sold, all profits will be used to help low income widows in urban/inner neighborhoods in our city, including St. Elmo.
