Invitation: Safer. Stronger Communities Conference

Dear Community Members,
I would like to cordially invite you to join us at the "A Call To Action: Safer. Stronger Communities" Conference, being held Saturday,Oct.25th  at Hope for the Inner City located at 1800 Roanoke Ave. In recent years, the Chattanooga community has experienced unprecedented increases in senseless and violent crimes in our most poverty stricken communities . The Conference will serve as a conduit to help organize leaders, elected officials, philanthropic institutions, and local residents to take action on reducing crime in our community. Please help us spread the word by sharing this with your local church, employer, civic group, fraternity, sorority and social media outlets. Workshop Panel discussions include:
    Re-Branding the Urban Pastor: Reconciling Church and Community
    Father in the Hood: Hope for a Fatherless Generation
    Education Matters: Equity, Access and Advocacy
    Police and Community Relations: An Antidote to Racial Violence
Opening Remarks begin at 8:OOAM, with a closing Keynote address at 2:00PM featuring Lakweshia Ewing, Deputy Executive Director of the newly formed, UnifiEd. The conference is free and open to the public and includes a free lunch.
