Please join Chattanooga State Community College, ArtsBuild and Honorary Chair, United States Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, for the Tennessee 3rd District Art Competition Award Ceremony.
Chattanooga State Community College and ArtsBuild are pleased to join Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, in honoring this year's high school participants and announce the award winning entries from the Tennessee 3rd Congressional District.
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Since the competition began in 1982, more than 700,000 high school students have participated.
The first place winner of the 3rd District is invited to attend the annual awards ceremony in Washington, DC. The winning artwork will be displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol.
This is a free event, but please register through the free ticket link above. Light refreshments will be served.
