Maker Night at Heritage House
Public · Hosted by Heritage House Arts & Civic Center - MAIN SITE and Heritage House Arts & Civic Center - Chattanooga, TN
Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Q: Tired of staring at that unfinished art or craft project gathering dust in your hobby room?
A: Well -- BRING IT to MAKE-CREATE and FINISH IT!
Heritage House's MAKE-CREATE is a home for creatives of all 'stripes.'
Based on the 'Artist's Way' book series by Julia Cameron and its creative clusters*, MAKE-CREATE is a place for creative people working within ANY medium. (Non-traditional AND traditional crafting is welcome!)
* NOTE: If you don't have a project you are currently working on, just come and hang out, and who knows -- you might even learn something new . . .
(We just finished teaching 3-D beading and balloon sculpture, and Chris Holley would be happy to 'introduce you' to these two wonderful crafts!)
Food at MAKE-CREATE is potluck so feel free to bring a sweet or savory but simple dish, snack item or "mock-tail" to share with your fellow creatives.
** Although the MAKER GROUP meets every 1st Thursday from 6 - 9:30 pm, our format is 'free-form,' so feel free to attend when your schedule allows -- don't be shy about coming in a little bit late or having to leave a bit early -- we fully understand.
