Writer/director Joshua Zeman, as his bio on A&E’s website for The Killing Season says, “has been at the forefront of the true crime genre for the last decade.” CFF fans will be treated to a recounting of some of his recent work, including the documentary Cropsey—which Filmmaker Magazine called “an absorbing and terrifying piece of filmmaking”—the anthology series Killer Legends—one of the most watched true crime documentaries on Hulu and Netflix—and Murder Mountain, which premiered on Netflix in late 2018.
