11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
ChaTech Women is supported by AT&T. We are excited to announce this panel featuring a discussion of women and risk-taking. It’s impossible to remove risks and uncertainty in the real world, especially in today’s complex and ever-changing workplaces. Nor is it possible to do substantive work of any kind without stepping outside of these bounds and fully into the unknown where failure and criticism are par for the course. Join us for a discussion with our panelists about the risks they've taken that has led to success and the risks that they wished they have taken.
Our panelists:
  • Amna Shah, founder of i-Card and Senior Consultant at AHS Consulting
  • Jennifer Weaver, VP of Infrastructure and Operations of BlueCross BlueShield Tennessee
  • Leslie Jensen-Inman, co-founder of Center Centre
Moderated by Jennifer Skjellum, Director of Programs for Co.Lab

Lunch will be provided by Dish T'Pass. No charge, thanks to our sponsor AT&T!

And we will be doing a raffle, gift provided by Modis - bring your business cards!

The mission of ChaTech Women is to inspire connect and support women and girls in technology pursuits through education, networking and mentoring so they may advance professionally and personally.

While the luncheon is free, if you’re able to take the $15-$25 that you would usually be spent on attending a luncheon and make a donation to the Give Forward Student Loan Fund, we would be very grateful. A donation is not required to attend. Every donation helps us bring diverse talent—including women—into the field of user experience design and technology. Your donation helps us help them help change the world—by design.
