Sunset/ Night Hike

Description:Explore the trails of Greenway Farms City Park by foot after dark on a free, guided hike provided by Outdoor Chattanooga. Please note you must register for this event in advance. Meeting location and other details are shared after successful registration.
Outdoor Chattanooga's experienced guides will lead you a 3-mile leisurely-paced hike starting at sunset and ending at twilight. By hiking at night we’re reducing our ability to use vision to navigate, which allows us to focus on our other senses, especially hearing, which puts us more in tune with the environment and wildlife.
Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather and bring their own water and a headlamp.
Cost: Free
Appropriate for ages 10 and up when accompanied by an adult.
Hike will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Reservations are required in advance. Call 423-643-6888 or email INFO@OutdoorChattanooga.com for more info and to register. This group hike will have a capacity of 25 people to limit traffic on trails and ensure guides can keep up with all attendees.
