Chattanooga Moms for Social Justice invite the public to "The Magic of Literacy," a spellbinding evening of Harry Potter-themed fun. Sunday, October 21 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. All the magic of the books will come to life with costumed characters, creatures from thw Chattanooga Zoo, the Sorting Hat, Hogwarts classes, quidditch, butter beer, themed treats and more. The event marks the launch of the group's new childhood literacy initative. The classroom Library Project, which will transform classroom corners in Opportunity Zone schools into inviting well-stocked libraries with diverse reading material for children who long to escape into the pages of good books.
