Ballet Tennessee presents the 2018 Summer Intensive & Dance
Alive performance on Friday, July 20 at Center for Creative Arts, 6:00
pm.
The FREE performance will showcase students of the Summer Intensive & Dance Alive Programs, Ballet Tennessee Professional Dancers, and BT alumnus Fredrick Davis.
In addition to the live performance, this year's event will premiere "Anchors," a film collaboration between Ballet Tennessee, The Pop-up Project, and the Sculpure Fields. Dedicated to the servicemen who lost their lives in the July 16, 2015 terrorist attack, the film will feature Fredrick Davis, seven BT Professional Dancers, and 60+ students from the Summer Intensive & Dance Alive Programs. David Lundberg's sculpture "Anchors" will be the centerpiece of the film, with choreography by Jules Downum, Mattie Waters, Emma Pannkuk, and Maddi Lane, and music by Tim Cofield.
