Art 120 and The Howard School are hosting El Mercado Latinoamericano de Chattanooga. This market is the feature of Art 120's annual Dia de los Muertos celebration.
People attending this family friendly event can expect to enjoy music, craft traditional tissue flowers and calavera masks, listen to bilingual traditional storytelling, view the fall Howard student art exhibit, and visit booths featuring the work of local Latino artists for sale and auction.
Festival goers may also bring or create a memento in honor of their loved ones based on the roots of this Mexican and multi-cultural tradition. This event is free and open to the public.
