USPS: Forever Stamps Price Increase to 49¢ & Postcards to 34¢ (Effective January 26th)
If you are a frequent letter/postcard sender, you’ll want to take note of the United States Postal Service changes that are set to take place on January 26th, 2014. On this date, the price of Forever Stamps will increase from 46¢ per stamp to 49¢ per stamp. In addition, you can expect the following changes…
* Postcards: Increase to 34¢ (1¢ increase)
* Letters to other international destinations: Increase to $1.15 (5¢ increase)
Check out this news release for more information. If you are running low on stamps, I would encourage you to head to your local Post Office this week to snatch up several books of Forever Stamps since you will save yourself 3¢ per stamp.
