Symphonic Tales at the South Chattanooga Library
Please join us at the South Chattanooga Library this Saturday, January 12, at 1:00 pm, when the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Department of Performing Arts in partnership with the Chattanooga Public Library’s Children’s Department present Symphonic Tales, a music and literacy series for young children. The program will include a performance of the aria, “Make Way for Omelette” from the opera Dr. Miracle by George Bizet,  as well as a reading of Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham, followed by games and crafts. Featured artists are Beth Duroy, soprano; Sara Snider Schone, mezzo-soprano; Jason Canter, tenor; and Scott Willis, baritone.
