Vote, Thursday, August 2, 2018

Regular voting will be *Thursday* (not Tuesday), August 2nd.
Here’s a very basic rundown on what we’re voting for:
Candidates on the ballot include those in the county and a primary at the state level.
There’s a primary for governor, US Senate, US Rep, State Rep, and others. You’ll need to choose the Democratic

or Republican ballot

for those. The county elections are non-partisan, as far as I know.

Most of St. Elmo is in “St. Elmo 1” which votes at the Rec Center for County Commission and School Board District 6, State House District 27, and State Senate District 10. There is a small section of the neighborhood in the TN Ave/45+St. area which - if I understand correctly - is “Alton Park 2” and votes at the Bethlehem Center. That area is in the same House and Senate districts, but for County Commission and School Board is in District 4.
