Creative Discovery Museum Free Family Night

Mark your calendar! Tonight is the night to join us for free family fun. Make a splash in RiverPlay! Create a masterpiece in Arts Alley! Dig the dinos in Excavation Station! Bring the family and enjoy art lessons, science demos, a drawing for a free membership, guests from other organizations such as Project Ready for School and much much more! Free Family Night is the second Thursday of every month. 

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, A Grr-ific Exhibit

Sing, explore and pretend with friends and family in some favorite places from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Based on the award-winning PBS KIDS television series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Daniel and his friends help young children navigate their world and parents guide their journey.

Try a new activity, share a memory and make some new ones on this beautiful day. Daniel and friends bring the wisdom and life lessons of Fred Rogers to a new generation. Along with the emotional lessons gleaned in the Neighborhood, visitors can:

• Step inside the Clock Factory to play with a variety of clocks
• Create stories through the Movable Character Mural
• Write or draw thank-you notes and put them on the Thank You Tree
• Compose a song or play along with one-of-a-kind instruments
• Visit the Post Office and sort, deliver and receive packages and letters
• Cozy up with a good book in O the Owl's Reading Nest
• Transform into to a favorite character with masks and costumes
• Stroll with a Trolley along the path, and ring the bell upon arrival!
