MPRL: Machine Learning for Tweens
Join the Downtown library for the Best Summer Ever at our Make. Play.
Read. Learn program, Machine Learning for Tweens from 9am to 2:45 pm
on Friday, June, 29th!
We will be joining Donnie Bryson, Contract Software
Engineer and retired IBM Senior Inventor, as he leads us through an IBM
created curriculum on Machine Learning. We’ll explore problem solving,
the difference between machine learning and artificial intelligence (or
AI), and dive into coding to solve problems utilizing machine learning!
This program will best be suited to kids who have already experimented
in SCRATCH and are ready to take it to the next level. Finally, we’ll be
joined by Mary Kim, Director of Bright Spark and Innovation for
Good, to explore solving a real problem with machine learning and a
local inventor’s contest where kids can earn cold, hard cash for your
innovative ideas!
Registration is required for this event as lunch is provided.
