'The Artist's Way' / 'Craft & Crop' at Heritage House Arts & Civic Center

Thursday, August 2
6:00pm-9:00pm
Come join us this month at the AMBI ARTISTS gathering and reignite your "creative spark" ( . . . no matter which form of the arts you might work in!)
Our group is based on the best-selling motivational book for creatives of all stripes: 'THE ARTIST'S WAY' by Julia Cameron and its path to higher creativity. 'The Artist's Way' is a 12-week stepped process designed to break through creative blocks or plateaus and elevate one's imagination.
The journey is great when traveled through alone, but the process is magnified when traversed with a group. If you haven't gone through this amazing process or would like to run through it again, please join us.
Everyone is encouraged to bring something they enjoy working on, but it is not required to attend.
Food is potluck, so feel free to bring a side, dessert, (non-alcoholic) beverage or other potluck dish to share with your fellow creatives.
* NOTE: If you don't have the book, yet, don't worry, we'll have extra copies you can work with during the workshop portion of the night.
** The event takes place from 6pm - 9:00pm, but our friendly 'cross-pollinator' is informal and free-flowing - feel free to come later or leave early if you need to.

Q: Tired of staring at that unfinished art or craft project gathering dust in your hobby room?
A: Well -- Bring it to MAKE-CREATE and FINISH IT!
Heritage House's MAKE-CREATE is a home for creatives of all 'stripes.' Based on the 'Artist's Way' book series by Julia Cameron and its creative clusters*, MAKE-CREATE is a place for creative people working within ANY medium. (Non-traditional AND traditional crafting is welcome!)
* NOTE: If you don't have a project you are currently working on, just come and hang out, and who knows -- you might even learn something new.
** (We are currently putting together ongoing BEADING and BALLOON ART classes to be taught by Ms. PATRICIA BALLOONA -- we'll be giving a special SNEAK PREVIEW of the classes at Make-Create on Thursday . . . )
Classes will be starting up in the very near future -- STAY TUNED!)
Food at MAKE-CREATE is potluck so feel free to bring a sweet or savory but simple dish, snack item or "mock-tail" to share with your fellow creatives.
** Although the MAKER GROUP meets every 1st Thursday from 6 - 9:30 pm, our format is free-form, so feel free to attend when your schedule allows -- don't be shy about coming in a bit late or having to leave a bit early -- we understand.
