Chattanooga Music Teachers Association will be meeting on Nov. 12, 9:30
a.m., at Concord Baptist Church. Dr. Cahill Smith will present a program
entitled: An Introduction to the Music of Nikolai Medtner. Cahill
serves on the piano faculty at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee,
where he is also a festival artist for the Lee University International
Piano Festival and Competition in the summer. He is an active lecturer,
competition juror, and masterclass presenter. All area teachers and
those interested in the topic are welcome to attend.
