Vintage Baseball, Saturday, April 8, 2017

Vintage  Base Ball returns to the 6th Cavalry Museum and the Polo Field at the Historic Post in Fort Oglethorpe Saturday, April 8 with a double-header  At noon, Mountain City of Chattanooga will play Phoenix of East Nashville, and at 2:30 p.m., the Lightfoot Club of Chattanooga will face off against Quicksteps Club of Spring Hill. 

Vintage Base Ball is played using the rules, equipment, uniforms, and culture of 1864.  Players assume the role of living historian while demonstrating how our national pastime got started.
Admission to the baseball match, the 6th Cavalry Museum, and the arts festival are all free.
