Poverty simulation Event
Southern Adventist University's School of Social Work is partnership with the Chattanooga Police Department, is hosting a poverty simulation training exercise Monday, April 22. Open to the community, this interactive, immersive experience will help participants gain a new understanding of the challenges facing individuals living on low income. To be held from 1- 4 p.m at The Well, 1800 Rossville Ave., this event will also provide participants with the skills necessary to plan, promote and facilitate a poverty simulation in their own communities.
