Veteran's Day "Timeline Tours" Underway at National Military Park

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will host a military
timeline of Chickamauga Battlefield.
Costumed volunteers and memorabilia transport visitors of all ages back to the 1800s, at the start of the Civil War.
The park set up a timeline exhibit for the weekend, beginning with the Civil War. Volunteers in period-uniforms explain to guests how their era during battle differs from other wars.
The 45-minute tours are free to the public.

Walks through the timeline will take
place behind the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center at 10:30 a.m.,
11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily.
