St. Elmo Avenue between Old Mountain Road and Tennessee Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, for the St. Elmo Spring Fling.

The Bethlehem Community Center, in partnership with New Season Christian Ministries, will be hosting a free community festival in South Chattanooga!

The fair will include: a health expo, food, games and Fun Time Inflatables for kids of all ages, live performances from local artists and worship bands, information about local churches, colleges, and nonprofit organizations throughout Chattanooga!


The event is free to attend, and food will be provided!

Some food vendors will be on hand for a larger variety of foods!

Local families are encouraged to come out and enjoy a fun, safe afternoon.

Chattanooga Book Drive Book Distribution, Saturday, April 12, 2014




We want to make sure that all children in Chattanooga have access to great books, no matter where they are. 
The "CHATTANOOGA BOOK DRIVE" is asking everyone to donate new or gently used kids - teen books throughout the city. 
Drop off locations include all of our centers, City Hall, Hamilton Place & Northgate Malls, ALL library branches, McKay Books, and Barnes & Noble (Who have books for sale, with proceeds going to the initiative).
On SATURDAY, APRIL 12th, ALL BOOKS will be donated back to the children and families we serve in our 17 Youth and Family Development Centers from 11am-2pm. Books, free pizza and information on our programs will be available to all who stop by!

These sessions were led by nationally acclaimed architect and town planner Mike Watkins.

We hope you will join us as Mr. Watkins returns to Chattanooga to present an update on the St. Elmo town center plan.
